This time Airtel is offering new Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy Wave users Unlimited Mobile Internet (2 GB data per month) for 6 months for just Rs. 600. Which comes out to be Rs. 50 per month for 6 months, well below the usual charges of Rs. 98 per month. This offer valid up to 30 September, 2010. In order to activate this offer follow the steps give below:

  • Make sure you own a new Samsung Galaxy S or Samsung Wave and are Airtel customer.
  • Send sms “SAMSUNG” (without quotes) (in caps) to 543210 (toll free number).
  • You will receive an sms confirming the activation of this service.

That’s it! Enjoy unlimited Internet on your samsung smart-phone at reduced rates for the next 6 months (from the date of activation).

Keep In Mind The Following Points:

  • You can avail this offer only once.
  • After 6 months (from date of activation), you will be charged for Mobile Internet at normal rates.
  • In case you download data beyond the allowed 2 GB, you will be charged Rs. 0.30 for 50 KB.

  1. Activating any other plan prior to this scheme shouldn’t be a problem. And i will recommend you to wait for 48 hours. In case, it does’nt get activated then write an email to airtel presence.

  2. How long does it take to activate? I’ve sent a SMS and got couple of replies stating that the service will be activated in 48hrs. The ETA is approaching and it is still not activated ( normamly it gets activated in few hours).
    I spoke to Airtel customer care and as usual they were clueless about the offer.
    My only concern is that I had activated another plan after purchasing GalaxyS and deactivated it prior to opting for this scheme. Wondering whether this will pose a problem for subscription to the new offer or not.
