Upcoming Nothing Phone 2 will Be Powered by Snapdragon 8-series Processor

At MWC 2023, Carl Pei, CEO & co-founder of Nothing announced in presence of Cristiano Amon, CEO of Qualcomm that upcoming Nothing Phone 2 will be powered by Snapdragon 8-series Processor. But he has not clarified which version of Snapdragon 8 will be used in Nothing Phone 2. It could be Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Out of these three iterations, whichever processor is used in Nothing Phone 2, it will have lot of power for smooth and lag free expereince. With the introduction of Snapdragon 8 series processor, the Nothing Phone 2 will be a flagship smartphone.

You may recall that Nothing Phone 1 was a mid-ranger as this phone is equipped with Snapdragon 778G+ processor. This chip was custom designed for Phone (1), including wireless and reverse wireless charging capabilities.

As expected, Carl Pei has not divulged more details about the upcoming Nothing Phone 2. Since it is going to be flagship phone from the stable of Nothing, we expect that it will be armed with top of the range of camera capabilities and a large battery to compete with flagship phones of OnePlus, Xiaomi and Vivo etc.

We expect more details will start emerging in due course to create hype about Nothing Phone 2. Stay tuned!
