Vivo has launched today upgraded version of Vivo V5 which was launched in India last year in the month of November. The new Vivo V5s has been upgraded in ROM department. The Vivo V5s has internal storage of 64GB which can be further extended upto 256GB compared to 32GB available on V5 and which is extendable to 128GB. Rest of the features are same.
The V5s features a 5.5-inch HD dispaly with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 2.5D curved glass with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by the same1.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali T860 GPU which also powered V5. It also comes with 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with layer of Funtouch OS 2.6. This phone also gets its juice from a 3000mAh battery.
The USP of this phone is also its 20MP front-facing camera with Moonlight Flash for clicking good selfies even in low lights. To enhance the selfie quality, this phone also comes with Face Beauty 6.0 app. This phone is also mounted with a 13MP camera on the rear with LED flash and Phase Detection Auto-Focus.
This phone also incorporate a fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button which unlock the phone within 0.2 seconds. For connectivity, this phone offes plethora of connectivity options such as 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS, OTG support etc. This phone also comes with Accelerometer, Light sensor and Digital compass.
Vivo phones are also touted to be good at delivering high quality audio output and this feature is available on V5s also as this phone is also equipped with AK4376 Hi-Fi audio chip.
This phone will be available in two colors – Matte Black which will go on sale from 6th May and Crown Gold which will start selling from 20th May. The pre-order of this phone has started today via online retailers such as Flipkart and on offline stores.
