Chinese smartphone brand Vivo is set to launch its innovative X series of smartphone known as Vivo X21 UD. The company has scheduled an event in India on 29th May where this phone will be unveiled for the Indian consumers. The USP of this phone is its display fingerprint sensor. In other words, the phone has been designed in such a way that there is no physical fingerprint sensor or home button on it. On the contrary, the fingerprint sensor have been provided on the display itself for unlocking the phone. This phone was showcased at the CES 2018 and was recently launched in China.
On the specifications front, the X21 UD has notch Super AMOLED display of 6.28-inch (2280 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ with aspect ratio of 19:9. This phone is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB with microSD card. This phone gets its juice from 3200mAh battery which has fast charging feature. This phone has Hybrid Dual SIM. It runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with Funtouch 4.0. This is one of few smartphones which has got Android P Beta as announced by Google.
On the imaging front, this phone has dual rear camera set-up on the back. The 12MP primary rear camera has LED flash, f/1.8 aperture and secondary 5MP camera comes with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, this phone is mounted with 12-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera offers facial recognition. As usual with high-end smartpones of Vivo, this phone also boasts of AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip.
For connectivity, this phone offers options of 4G VoLTE, Dual Band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0 with OTG support, and GPS. This is light weight phone and weighs just 156gms.
