At an event in New Delhi, vivo today launched its latest flagship smartphones, the vivo X300 and X300 Pro. The vivo X300 is ideal for natural portraits and everyday photography, while the vivo X300 Pro focuses on long-range precision with professional telephoto capabilities. Both continue vivo’s collaboration with ZEISS, delivering consistent color accuracy, detail, and clarity across every frame.

The X300 Pro features a 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera powered by the upgraded Ultra-Sensing Sensor HPB, and is powered by vivo×Sony LYT-828 Sensor along with a ZEISS Gimbal-Grade Main Camera, offering CIPA 5.5-rated stabilization for cinematic precision. It integrates two Pro Imaging Chips – vivo’s V3+ chip to handle post-processing, and an exclusively developed VS1 chip to pre-process every frame, ensuring faster overall processing, improved low-light performance, enhanced portraits, and the distinct ZEISS look that defines vivo’s X Series.
The X300 is equipped with a 200MP ZEISS Main Camera, a 50MP Telephoto Camera, driven by the new LYT-602 sensor, and a 50MP wide-angle auto-focus camera, and CIPA 4.5 professional-grade stabilization, which enables consistent detail and dynamic range.
The vivo X300 Series introduces an enhanced Adaptive Flash system on both X300 and X300 Pro, delivering brighter, more natural illumination across multiple focal lengths. With a redesigned optical structure and increased fill-light current, the flash now supports a broader field of view and significantly higher center illuminance, enabling clear portraits even at night or against challenging backdrops like fireworks. Powered by vivo’s Light Spot Fusion Technology, which blends wide-angle diffusion with telephoto-focused convergence, the system provides optimized lighting for the series’ supported focal lengths: 23 mm and 50 mm on X300, and 24 mm, 50 mm, and 85 mm on X300 Pro. This ensures consistent, studio-like lighting whether shooting wide, standard, or telephoto portraits.
The vivo X300 Pro introduces pro-grade video tools with 4K 120 FPS dual-focal-length recording, Dolby Vision, 10-bit Log, and ACES-ready workflows, while the entire X300 series supports cinematic 4K 60 FPS portrait video with upgraded beauty, bokeh, and new cold-white and Fujifilm-style colour presets.
vivo has also introduced compatibility with the ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender Kit. Designed for photography enthusiasts, the kit enhances the telephoto experience by delivering even sharper clarity, richer detail, and natural background separation. Combined with the kit, the vivo X300 Pro offers an 8.5x optical zoom, while the X300 goes up to 7.7x optical zoom. Whether capturing distant wildlife, sports moments, or scenic landscapes, the extender allows users to experience DSLR-like versatility directly through their smartphone lens.
Making its debut in India, Telephoto Bird Shots are designed for birdwatchers and creators and this mode activates automatically at 10x optical zoom and uses ZEISS Mirotar Telephoto Style Bokeh to deliver natural background separation and professional-grade clarity.
The vivo X300 series enhances creativity with Stage Mode 2.0, AI Image Studio, and Dual-View Video, enabling users to tell their stories effortlessly. The new AI Landscape Master, developed with Indian users in mind, intelligently recognizes distinct environments such as snow, deserts, and islands, and adjusts color balance and tone accordingly.
The vivo X300 Series introduces AI Storyboard, enabling high-resolution recomposition from a single 200MP image. With intelligent cropping and cinematic collage options, users can create close-ups, subject-focused frames, and artistic layouts instantly for richer visual storytelling.
The vivo X300 Series also introduces upgraded Live Photo with higher 1.9K clarity, improved portrait rendering, and better stabilization for dynamic scenes. Users also get enhanced creative controls with customizable cover frames, motion effects, and extended duration up to 5 seconds.
The series also introduces AI Landscape Master, a new creative mode that reimagines portraits through the lens of nature’s moods. Powered by vivo’s advanced AI scene understanding, the feature allows users to transform a single portrait into four unique renditions – Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter – each capturing distinct tones, lighting, and atmosphere. From warm golden hues to cool winter blues, the mode offers an artistic way to express emotion and style through portrait photography. Additionally, it also allows users to play with different scenario setups, such as Desserts, Island, Morning and Evening Glow, or Twilight.
