Xiaomi has launched today three smartphones in India – Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6 Pro with different variants in the range of Rs. 5999 to Rs. 12,999. We give below details of these phones:
Xiaomi Redmi 6A sports a 5.45-inch HD+ (1440 × 720 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by 2GHz Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A22 12nm processor mated with2GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage extendable up to 256GB with microSD card. It is packed with 3000mAh battery.
For imaging this phone is mounted with 13MP rear camera with PDAF & EIS, AI portrait mode, PDAF, LED Flash and f/2.2 aperture and 5Mp front camera with f/2.2 aperture. This phone has AI Face unlock feature.
Redmi 6A comes in two variants: 2GB + 16GB for INR 5,999 and 2GB + 32GB for INR 6,999 as introductory prices for two months. Redmi 6A will go on sale on mi.com and Amazon.com on 19th September at 12 Noon.

This phone is packed with 3000mAh battery and also has fingerprint sensor and AI Face unlock.
Redmi 6 comes in two variants: 3GB + 32GB variant priced at INR 7,999 and 3GB + 64GB variant priced at INR 9,499 as introductory prices for two months. Redmi 6 will go on sale on mi.com and Flipkart.com on 10th September, 2018 at 12 Noon. Redmi 6 also brings a first sale offer with HDFC Bank which extends a INR 500 instant cashback to all HDFC credit and debit card holders.
Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is the top most model of this series and flaunts a 5.84-inch (2280×1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is powered by
2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with
3GB RAM with 32GB storage and also with 4GB RAM with 64GB storage which is expandable up to 256GB with microSD card. This phone is packed with huge 4000mAh battery.
For photography, this phone also comes with Dual rear camera set-up comprising of 12MP + 5MP with PDAF, EIS & AI portrait mode. For selfies, it has 5MP front camera with AI portrait mode. This phone has Fingerprint sensor and AI Face unlock.
All the above three phones come with 4G VoLTE Dual SIM + dedicated microSD card slot. These phones run on MIUI 9.6 based on Android Oreo, but an update to MIUI 10 will be rolled out in the coming months.
