Ahead of launch of Mi 5 flagship smartphone in MWC in few minutes from now, Xiaomi of China has launched today mid-range Mi 4S, which is an upgraded version of the Mi 4.
The Mi 4S sports a 5 inch full-HD IPS display with resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and pixel density of 441ppi. It is driven by Snapdragon 808 processor combined with Adreno 418 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB/64GB of inbuilt storage with microSD card support for additional storage.
It runs MIUI 7 based on Android Marshmallow OS and is packed with a 3260mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge technology. This phone comes with fingerprint sensor at the back and supports Dual-SIM, 4G LTE with VoLTE. It also offers other connectivity options of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and has USB Type-C port.
This smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, PDAF, and also houses a 5-megapixel front camera.
The Mi 4S will go on sale in China from March 1 at CNY 1699 which is approximately Rs. 17,500. This phone will be available in Black, Gold, Purple, and White colours.
Xiaomi has not disclosed when this phone will hit the Indian market.
