Xiaomi has started sending media invites for an event in New Delhi on 3rd March where it will be launching the Redmi Note 3 smartphone. Likewise in China, the Redmi Note 3 will be launched with two RAM and storage versions of 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage and other with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The price of 2GB RAM version is expected to be around Rs. 9,000 and 3GB version will have price tag of around Rs. 12,000.
The Redmi Note 3 sports a 5.5 inch full HD 1080×1920 pixels IPS display with 178 degree viewing angle. It is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor. It is packed with 4000mAh battery with fast charging support.
This phone runs on Android Lollipop-based MIUI 7 of Xiaomi. This is Dual-SIM device and supports 4G LTE on both the SIMs. It also offers other connectivity options of Bluetooth, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB etc.
The Redmi Note 3 is equipped with a 16 MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. It also houses a 5MP selfie camera.
This phone has a full-metal body and also incorporates a fingerprint sensor at the back below the rear camera.
The Redmi Note 3 will be available in Dark Grey, Champagne Gold, and Silver colours.
