Alongside Mi Air Purifier 2, Xiaomi has also launched today Mi Band 2 which is successor to the Mi Band. It comes with an OLED display along with a button below it and Heart Rate Sensor which was not available on the earlier version.
It has a 0.42-inch OLED display which lights up to show the time with a lift of the wrist, and tapping the button lets users view other information like steps taken and heart rate. The Mi Band 2 claims to have battery life of 20 days in a single charge which is up to four times longer than similar fitness trackers available in the market.
This Band is compatible with the Mi Fit app available on Android and iOS. Besides showing activity and sleep statistics, the app allows users to manage alarms and send incoming calls and app alerts, as well as reminders to move after sitting for too long.You can connect this Band to your smartphone through Bluetooth to sync all your fitness data.
This Band has a lightweight and slim design and can be worn almost all the time. It is IP67 certified which means it provide resistance to water splashes. It also enables unlocking the Android 5.0 (or later) smartphones instantly. It comes with a hypoallergenic silicone band which is more skin-friendly.
The Mi Band 2 is priced Rs. 1,999 and will be available for purchase from September 27 at 12 pm through Mi.com and through Amazon India from September 30 at 12 am.
