Xolo, which is a subsidiary company of handset maker Lava International, has announced today that its Windows 8.1 powered smartphone Xolo Win Q900s, which went for pre-booking in June-end, is now available for sale across all authorized retail counters and modern trade chains at a price of Rs. 9,999.
Xolo Win Q900s is claimed to be the world’s lightest Windows smartphone, which weighs just 100 grams. Interestingly, in Android segment, Samsung Galaxy S4 mini weighs 107 grams and HTC Desire 500 has weight of 123 grams.
Running on latest Windows 8.1, Xolo Win Q900s is the first Windows phones with Dual SIM functionality. It features a 4.7 inch HD display(720×1280 pixels) with OGS and scratch resistant Drangontrail Glass. Xolo Win Q900s runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor with 1 GB RAM, 8GB ROM, which is extendable to 32GB via microSD card.
The Win Q900s sports an 8 MP AF Rear Camera with LED Flash & PureCel Sensor, which is claimed to provide bright and clear pictures in both high and low light environment. It also comes with 2 MP Front Camera.
For connectivity options, the Win Q900s offers 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS and Micro-USB.The phone is packed with a Li-Pol 1,800mAh battery.
