As expected, Samsung has expanded its flagship Galaxy Note series and announced today the latest Galaxy Note 4 phablet at an unapcked event in Berlin. The Galaxy Note 4 comes with advanced features and in a premium metal frame with fluid curvature with soft-textured back cover, to give this device an elegant look.
The Galaxy Note 4 runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS and sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 515ppi. It will be powered by a 2.7 GHz Quad-Core Processor or 1.9 GHz Octa-Core (1.9GHz Quad + 1.3GHz Quad-Core) Processor depending upon the markets. Both the processors are paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which is expandable to 64GB via microSD card. This phablet will work with 4G LTE and 4G LTE Cat.6 (LTE Advanced) networks depending upon the availability in the markets.
The Galaxy Note 4 is equipped with a 16 megapixel rear-facing camera with a Smart Optical Image Stabilizer. It also houses a 3.7 megapixel front-facing camera with f1.9 lens, which offers a default 90 degree shooting angle and up to 120 degree wide angle for snapping effective selfies.
The Galaxy Note 4 is fuelled by a powerful Li-ion 3,220mAh with the fast charging feature and Ultra Power saving mode. For connectivity options, the Note 4 offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ b/ g/ n/ ac, GPS/ Glonass, NFC, Bluetooth v 4., IR LED, USB 2.0, and MHL 3.0. This phablet measures 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5mm, and weighs 176 grams.
Samsung Galaxy Note comes with advanced S Pen, which is capabale of providing a more natural brush effect that perfectly emulates writing on paper with a fountain or calligraphy pen. The S Pen also introduces a more user-friendly Air Command functionality along with other intuitive features such as Action Memo, Screen Write, Image Clip and Smart Select that allow users to create and collect content with ease. A new Smart Select feature enables users to easily piece together content from different origins, and share it with ease.
The other useful advanced feature of Galaxy Note 4 is Samsung’s S Note application that allows everyday tasks to get done faster and more easily. In addition to typing and writing, the innovative Snap Note feature allows users to take a picture of their notes on a paper or a classroom board, and then quickly and easily convert to the S Note.

The Galaxy Note 4 will be available in “Charcoal Black,” “Frost White,” “Bronze Gold,” and “Blossom Pink” in global markets starting in October. As usual, Samsung has not revealed the price of this device and it is expected that it will be in the range of Rs. 45,000 to 50,000, when it is launched in India.
