Yahoo is organising Mobile Developer Meetup for the first time to India, which will be held in New Delhi on June 24 and in Bangalore on June 26. India’s mobile Internet sector is growing at almost 40 per cent a year, which has prompted app developers to create a community for innovations not only for users in India, but across the world.
Yahoo is creating this platform to enable mobile app developers to network with fellow participants from the mobile start-up and developer community. They will be the first to have a look at the Yahoo Mobile Developer Suite, which is designed to help them measure, advertise, monetize and improve their mobile apps. The Yahoo Mobile Developer Suite is a combination of technology and data from Yahoo, Flurry (acquired by Yahoo in August, 2014) and BrightRoll (acquired in December 2014). It is built on five offerings – Flurry Analytics with Explorer, Flurry Pulse, Yahoo App Publishing, Yahoo Search in Apps, and Yahoo App Marketing.
Flurry provides 200,000 app developers the mobile analytics, which help them understand their users about their audience, usage and performance. Every month, Flurry touches over 1.6 billion devices and gains tremendous insights into users’ interests and behavior, based on the apps they use. In this meetup, the Flurry team will also share key insights and trends from the app universe.
The Yahoo meetup will also have a panel of innovators and thought leaders for discussions. This will provide great opportunity for developers to network with fellow developers and share learning that can help resolve shared challenges.
