Jaguar Land Rover has launched the 2.0 l diesel variant of the 2019 Land Rover Discovery in India. This diesel model is priced from Rs. 75.18 lakh and is available in S, SE, HSE & HSE Luxury trim.
The new diesel variant is powered by a 2.0 l high-powered diesel Ingenium engine producing a power output of 177 kW and peak torque of 500 Nm. This advanced engine is the first Jaguar Land Rover powerplant to feature series sequential turbo technology to deliver its additional thrust as stated by the company.
The Discovery has a beautifully crafted full-size seven seat interior packed with ingenious design details with dramatic proportions, clean modern lines and a dynamic silhouette. For 2019, the Discovery 2.0 l diesel offers a rich set of features to choose from, including Electrically reclining seats, Intelligent Seat Fold, four-zone Climate Control, Powered third row seats, a panoramic sunroof, Cabin Air Ionisation, 360° Surround Camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Protect and Remote.
The Discovery seamlessly incorporates technology and capability in one compelling package. It has a best-in-class approach angle (34°), ramp angle (27.5°) and departure angle (30°), a water wading depth capability of 900 mm and a 3 500 kg towing capacity.
