ASUS has announced the roll out of their FOTA Update for Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6 range of smartphones in India. With this updte, the current version of these two smartphones will change from V1.15.40.35_20140715_3795 to V1.16.40.8_20140725_9834 . The updated version will bring the 3rd party app compatibility and the stability of system UI.
The feature of the enhancement announced by the Asus is that it will increase the brightness of Flash LED when capturing photos. The other features available in the update is that it will enhance Beautification mode special effects, including Skin Softener, Cheek Brush, Face Thinner and Eyes Enhancement. Your skin tone will be automatically beautified when you use front camera and this beautification effects will allow you to beautifying your photos faster. With the Quick Edit Button being added on contact card, you can now edit your contact cards faster, can transfer multiple files as a package to another device at once.
Besides above enhancements, the users of Zenfone 5 will also get the capability to adjust front camera skin tone at beauty mode, adding support of photo’s location info in Gallery for CN SKU, getting the Settings UI of screen wakeup selection when receiving messages, ability to hide PC link and recording in security mode.
The Asus Zenfone 5, Zenfone 6 and Zenfone 4 introduced recently are getting good respose in the market as they are economically priced in India.
