Expanding its portfolio of Canvas Tab, Micromax has announced the launch of Canvas Tab P690 tablet with 4th Gen Intel Atom Processor. It is priced Rs 8,999, and will be available at all leading retail stores and online stores across the country from June 7th, 2015.
The Canvas Tab P690 has sturdy Metallic Brush Finish design and comes loaded with varied services like Hello TV, Saavn, Kindle and various games, allowing users to access free content worth Rs. 3,000/-. It also gives access to a number of features including Quicklook, voice search, Google Drive, Hangouts for video calls, smart contact prioritization etc. The tablet is also preloaded with Facebook, Saavn, NewsHunt, Swift Key and WPS Office.
The Canvas Tab P690 sports an 8-inch IPS display( 1280×800 pixels resolution) with a 16:10 screen ratio. It is powered by a 1.83 GHz quad core 4th Gen Intel Atom Processor paired with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage expandable to 32GB via microSD card.
It is equpped with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. It is packed with a 4000 mAh battery, which is claimed to have back up of more than 180 hours on stand-by mode. It has connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB etc. This tablet runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS and Micromax has confirmed that it will be upgraded to Android Lollipop (OTA).
