Selfie-focussed smartphone Oppo F1 Plus is getting huge response from global markets and the Chinese handsets maker, Oppo claims to have sold 7 million units so far globally and it has averaged one sale every 1.1 seconds.
Commenting on this achievement, Mr Sky Li, President of OPPO India, said, “We are very excited with the performance of OPPO F1 Plus. Our focus on camera technology and photography-focused F series has resulted in excellent results for the brand – first with OPPO F1 becoming the best-selling model and now OPPO F1 Plus recording great sales. The acceptance from the consumers has been great and we believe that the reason behind this is the brand’s focus on taking consumer feedback seriously. We listen to users, and bring them meticulously designed, top-quality products that they’ll truly love. That’s what’s brought us this far and what will continue to drive us going forward.”
The USP of Oppo F1 Plus is its world leading 16MP front camera. This phone also incorporates VOOC Flash Charge technology which reaches a 75% charge after just half an hour of flash charging. According to Oppo, VOOC technology keeps the phone’s temperature low during charging, protecting longevity of the battery and phone internals, and even allowing the user to simultaneously use their phone while they fast-charge, a function that no competitor can offer.
Industry standards stipulate that, after 500 charge cycles, a battery should still have 80% of its original capacity. The F1 Plus maintains this capacity through a full 900 cycles, making it 1.8 times stronger than the industry standard, on top of providing breakneck charging speeds.
The F1 Plus sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 4th Generation Gorilla Glass for protection against scratches. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 2.0GHz 64-bit Octa-core processor which comes equipped with the world’s first TrueBright Image Signal Processor (ISP) engine, for enhanced color resolution and detail. This phone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable to 128GB via microSD card.
