Honor, which is sub-brand of Huawei, has launched its much publicised Swagphone, Honor 6X at an event in New Delhi. The Honor 6X comes in two variants of 36B+32GB internal storage which is priced Rs. 12,999 and 4GB+64GB variant with a price tag of Rs. 15,999. This phone will be sold exclusviely by Amazon.in. This phone will be available in Gold, Silver and Gray colors. The 3GB +32GB variant goes on pre-registrations from today on Amazon.in and the first flash sale would be on 2nd February at 2PM. The 4GB+64GB variant will start selling in the month of February.
The Honor 6X has a metallic finish which gives it premium look. This phone has 5.5-inch full HD display (1080 x 1920 pixels) with 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 655 octa-core chipset (4 X 2.1GHz + 4 X 1.7GHz speeds) and is coupled with Mali T830-MP2 GPU. This phone comes in two variants of 3GB/4GB of RAM with 32GB/ 64GB of internal storage which can be further extended upto 128GB via microSD card.
The USP of this phone is its two rear cameras for snapping very sharp images. The primary camera has 12MP sensor with LED Flash, 6P lens, 1.25um pixel size, PDAF, aperture F/0.95-F/16 and the secondary rear camera has 2MP sensor for producing depth of field and Bokeh effect. The rear camera is also capable of video recording of upto 1080p resolution.This phone is also equipped with 8 mega-pixel front shooter for capturing selfies which also produces good results.
This phone incorporates fingerprint sensor on the back which is very fast to unlock the phone and has never failed me during my usage of this phone. You can also click selfies with the fingerprint sensor. The phone gets its juice from 3340mAh battery and is good enough to last for full day depending upon your usage. This phone offers connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.
The Honor 6X supports Hybrid Dual SIM (nano+ nano/microSD) and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on the top. This phone supports 14 local languages and also comes with the SOS button which will send an SMS to preset numbers in the event of an emergency.
