Xiaomi has launched today their flagship smartphone in India, Mi 11 Ultra. This phone is armed with triple rear camera set-up comprising of 50MP camera with Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor which is the largest sensor on a smartphone, 48MP Sony IMX586 ultra-wide camera with 128-degree field-of-view and 48MP Sony IMX586 Periscope lens system with 5x optical zoom which is also capable of 10x Hybrid and 120x Digital zoom. Mi 11 Ultra is the world’s 1st smartphone camera to come with Dual Pixel Pro technology that allows much faster auto focus – both horizontally, as well as vertically. For selfies, this phone has front shooter of 20MP with f/2.2 aperture.
This phone sports a 6.81 inch WQHD+ AMOLED Dot Display with 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution and supports 4 different refresh rates: 30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rate. This phone also has a secondary 1.1” inch AMOLED touch display on the back to show the time, date and notifications. The secondary screen can also be used to display images and can also function as a viewfinder to take pro-grade selfies by utilising the rear camera setup.
This phone is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 888 processor with Adreno 660 GPU. This phone comes with 12GB LPPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage and is packed with 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired and wireless turbocharging which takes about 36 mins to fill from 0-100%. It also supports 10W wireless reverse charge and 5W Reverse wired charge.
The Mi 11 Ultra comes with a dual-speaker setup paired SOUND BY Harman Kardon. It runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11. This phone has in-screen fingerprint sensor and offers various connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C.
The Mi 11 Ultra flaunts a ceramic back which is soft and luxurious to touch, and is durable and resistant to accidents. The device comes with IP68 dust and water resistance rating, and can protect the device against dust/dirt. It is also resistant to submersion in water for up thirty minutes at a maximum depth of 1.5m.
Mi 11 Ultra will be available in two colors variants: Cosmic Black and Cosmic White and will be available in 12GB +256GB variant at a price of INR 69,999. The company has not announced yet its availability schedule.
