At an event in New Delhi, Dell Technologies expanded its most comprehensive consumer portfolio to date, spanning premium thin-and-light laptops, AI-powered productivity devices and high-performance gaming devices. Dell unveilled its latest Laptops at this event which include New XPS 13, Dell 14S, 16S & Alienware 15 .
The new XPS 13 iconic Laptop
The new XPS 13 is an ultra-portable laptop designed for various usage. It delivers exceptional portability without compromising the premium craftsmanship that has long defined the XPS portfolio. It comes with large battery which offers up to 17 hours of streaming. This laptop has razor-thin edges, a compact 1kg form factor and a refined CNC aluminium design.
This laptop is powered by Intel Core Series 3 or Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors (available at a later date) with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory to handle multitasking without friction. Depending on the configuration, XPS 13 supports either two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports or two Thunderbolt 4/USB Type-C ports.
XPS 13 features a 13.4 inch 2.5K LCD InfinityEdge touch display with 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage, up to 500 nits of brightness to enable you to easily see content outdoors or in bright light. A variable refresh rate that ranges from 30Hz to 120Hz intelligently balances power efficiency and smooth visuals. Its Eyesafe technology supports comfortable all-day viewing. With Intel Wi-Fi 7 offered standard, all that detailed content can be streamed effortlessly. Dolby Atmos-tuned quad speakers provide a rich, immersive experience.
Its backlit keyboard makes typing comfortable in any lighting condition. This laptop claim to deliver responsive everyday performance, seamless connectivity and AI-enabled experiences. XPS 13 comes in two finishes, Sky and Storm (available at a later date).
Dell 14S and 16S
These laptops are powered by the latest Series 3 Intel Core Ultra processors or AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors, with up to a 50 TOPS NPU. The Dell 16S is packed with Intel Core Ultra X7 358H which has 55% higher graphics performance over the last generation. They have a slim 15.3 mm metal design with weights starting at just 1.46 kg on the Dell 14S. These laptops are available with Celestial Blue or Frost Blue colour options
These laptops include two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.1 port and one global headset port.
These laptops are available in 14 and 16 inch FHD+ OLED touch and non-touch in the 14S and 2.8K OLED touch with the 16S display options, and delivers refresh rates of up to 120Hz, 400 nits of brightness, DCI-P3 100% colour coverage, and Dolby Vision support.
Alienware 15 Gaming Laptop
Alienware 15 feature up to Intel Core 7 (Series 2) 240H processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics. It comes with advanced thermal technologies and has been tested for everyday resilience, including accidental spills of up to 60ml and drops of up to 18 inches on all six faces and four corners. It features a 15.3-inch WUXGA display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio, offering crisper visuals and more vertical screen space than standard FHD. Alienware 15 comes in a Nova Black colour with durable polycarbonate resin to deliver a premium finish.
Alienware 15 includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB-C ports, HDMI 2.1, RJ45 Ethernet, a universal audio jack and a dedicated power port. That port mix gives users flexibility for gaming and everyday use, including support for external displays, accessories, wired internet and USB-C charging on the go.
