After Galaxy SIII, Samsung Starts Pre-Booking For Galaxy Tab 2 In India

It has become a trend now to take pre-orders online by leading vendors like Apple and Samsung. This tradition of pre-booking was started by Apple and now Samsung has also followed this tradition to create buzz in the market and start publicity before the arrival of its device in the market. Samsung was successful with this strategy and so far have pre-booked 10 million Galaxy SIII smartphones, which it will start shipping on 29th May in Germany, followed by other countries.

Samsung’s official online store  has started pre-booking for the Galaxy Tab 2 (GT-P3100 ) tablet in India. Samsung India is all set to officially launch their 7″ inch Galaxy Tab 2 in the country this week. It is expected to be priced at Rs. 23,250, while select retailers have already started selling it for Rs. 19,500.

Originally show-cased at Mobile World Congress, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2  features Android 4.0, 1 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB RAM,its memory can be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD card, and 7″ inch capacitive touchscreen with 1024x600p resolution. The tablet also comes with 3MP rear camera, front camera, 3G and voice-calling support.

This is the sixth Android tablet from the company to be released in the Indian market, other five being original Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Tab 750, 730, 680 and 620.

Samsung’s tab is good value for money and if one can get it for Rs. 19,500 then the prospective buyers can take the plunge and grab it as Android tab of Samsung will not disappoint any user. It is better to buy branded tablet than to go in for economical tablets which are being flooded in the market and users are facing lot of problems with them.
