Asus unveiled at Mobile World Congress, 2013, the 7″ inch FonePad which incorporates 3G mobile data and full telephony support. It has now introduced this affordable tablet in India.
FonePad comes with WXGA LED Backlight IPS panel with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It is powered by Intel Atom Z2420 processor @ 1.2GHz and runs on 1GB RAM. It also comes with 3 megapixel rear camera (for basic photography) and 1.2 megapixel front camera (for video calling).
Another notable inclusion is 4270 mAh Li- Polymer battery which should be sufficient enough to get through the day easily. Also, it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (no particular news about upgrade plans to Android 4.2).
