Asus Unveils Zenfone Max With Huge 5,000mAh Battery

At today’s launch event, Asus also announced ZenFone Max, which will be available in the month of October in India and the price will be disclosed at the time of its roll-out.

The USP of ZenFone Max is its massive 5000mAh battery and it will compete somewhat with Gionee Marathon M4, which also is packed with 5000mAh battery ( http://www.techvorm.com/gionee-marathon-m4-with-massive-5000mah-battery-launched-at-rs-15499/) which was launched two days ago at Rs. 15,499. The huge battery of ZenFone Max can also be used to charge other devices. This smartphone is sleek device and has thickness of just 5.2mm, as stated by Asus.

The ZenFone Max sports a 5.5-inch display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and probably 8GB or 16GB of internal storage. It is also equipped with a 13-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera with laser auto-focus plus dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper.

It offers connectivity options of Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It also runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 OS with ZenUI on it.

Asus has not disclosed much details about ZoneFone Max. We do not know its screen resolution and internal storage capacity so far.

This phone is for mid-segment and is expected to be priced around Rs 10,000 going by the pricing pattern of Asus.
