BlackBerry Q10 To Debut In India On June 6

BlackBerry Q10 QWERTY smartphone running on the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, which was launched in Canada and UK at the end of April, has received tremendous response in these markets. Emboldened by the success of this device wherever it has been launched, BlackBerry Q10 is being launched in India on 6th June as confirmed by PR agency of BlackBerry in India. The company will start sending out invites in a day or two to the media for the launch event.

BlackBerry Q10 features a 3.1-inch super AMOLED touchscreen, and comes with a physical QWERTY keyboard, which has been one of the key features of BlackBerry devices since the company started offering smartphones. This phone will have an 8-megapixel rear camera on-board and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G and NFC. BlackBerry Q10 is packed with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 2100mAh battery.

In this age of touch screen usage, there are still lot of consumers who still prefers to operate their smartphone with keyboard and BlackBerry Q10 would be ideal companion of such people. Moreovre, no body can challenge the sturdiness of hardware of BlackBerry. Had they decided to incorporate Android OS in their hardware, my gut feeling says, the story would have been entirely different of Android smartphones. But Alas! that was not to be.

BlackBerry Q10 is the second smartphone to run on the new BlackBerry 10 OS after flagship BlackBerry Z10, which was launched in India last month at exhorbitant price of Rs. 43,400. However, the company has not revealed the India price of BlackBerry Q10 so far and this piece of information will be shared by them on 6th June.
