CES Round The Corner And Rumours Galore About Nokia Lumia 900 Ace

Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012 is just two days away and rumor mill has been on overdrive ever since news of Nokia Lumia 900 “Ace” was leaked. Nokia Lumia 900 “Ace”, an LTE enabled Windows Phone powered handset, is reportedly all set to be unveiled on Monday, 10th January, 2012 at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2012.

“On Monday at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nokia plans to introduce a sleek metallic Windows Phone called the Lumia 900 that will be sold by AT&T in the United States, according to two people with knowledge of its plans who spoke on condition of anonymity because the product has not yet been announced”, reports the New York Times.

There is no official confirmation about launch and specifications either by Nokia nor Microsoft. But as per rumours, the handset is anticipated to have the following specifications:

  • 4.3″ inch WVGA display,
  • 512 MB RAM,
  • 8 megapixel camera and
  • Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS

After getting luke warm response to its launches of Lumia 800 and 710 smartphones in late 2011, Nokia is to desperate to get going and hence launch of Lumia 900 will be natural progression from its earlier models. Nokia should have been the leader in smartphone segment too because it has the privilege of having very sturdy hardware, but probably it lacked behind Android smartphones because of its late entry to smartphone market.

Let us see how the story of Nokia unfold in the coming days and months.
