At an event in Mumbai yesterday, Saregama India unveiled a one of its kind app on classical music that features 8000+ musical works, 400+ artistes and 50 radio stations across Hindustani, Carnatic and Fusion music. The launch event was attended by Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pt. Jasraj, Gulzar Saab, Dr. Balamuralikrishna, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Pt. Ajay Pohankar, Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan and many others. A soulful performance was rendered by Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Amaan Ali Khan & Ayaan Ali Khan.
This Classical app is available for Android and iOS devices. Saregama Classical app is a free to download app from Google Play Store and Apple Store with a 7 day trial period. Customers have an option to choose from attractively priced monthly, semi-annual and annual subscription offers. The payment can be made either through the iTunes or the Google Play Store for Android users or customers’ telecom operator or through credit card,net banking and debit card.
The app boasts of an enviable and rare portfolio of musical creations of accomplished artistes like Pt. Jasraj, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pt. Ravi Shankar, Begum Parveen Sultana, M.S.
