Fly Mobiles, based in UK, today unveiled three economical smartphones in India. These three smartphones are : Qik+, Qik and Snap, priced at Rs. 6999, 5999 and 2999, respectively. These devices will be available exclusively on Snapdeal.com.
The Qik+ features a 5 inch HD screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels (293 pixels per inch). It is powered by a Mediatek 1.7 GHz Octa Core Processor, coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. It is equipped with a 13MP AF with flash primary camera and a 5MP front camera.
It has a sleek design at 7.8mm and is packed with a 2200 mAh battery. Priced at Rs. 6,999, this smartphone is claimed to be the cheapest 5” HD Octa Core smartphone in the market.
The Qik is empowered by the Mediatek’s Octa-Core 1.7 GHz processor and sports a 4.5 inches FWVGA (854×480) display with One Glass Solution technology. It also comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. It is equipped with an 8MP AF with flash primary camera and a 5MP front camera. This device is fuelled by a 2000 mAh battery within its sleek body.
The company claims that the Qik is not only cheapest by also the only Octa core 4.5” device in the market.
The cheapest of the range is the Snap smartphone, which is driven by a 1.3GHz Quad Core processor. It has display of 4 inches WVGA (800×480) and comes with 512RAM and 4GB ROM, extendable to 16GB. It has a 5MP built in camera at the back and 2MP front camera.
It also offers 3G connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, FM radio and USB connectivity, which are also standard features of the Qik range of smartphones.
All the three smartphones run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and support Dual-SIM. Fly mobiles has announced that they will offer a free upgrade to Android’s latest OS, Lollipop for both Qik+ and Qik in the near future. The Qik series support FOTA for over-the-air upgrade to Lollipop. Also, the Qik series come with two free Screen Guard to protect the display.
