Gionee is all set to throw his hat in Dual camera set-up technology and is gearing to launch A1 Plus smartphone in India this week. Gionee A1 Plus alongwith A1 were introduced in MWC 2017 and the company had launched A1 in India in the month of March, which was promoted under the tagline of Selfie camera for denizens of Selfistan. You may recall the A1 was fitted with 16MP selfie camera whereas the A1 Plus boasts of 20MP Selfie camera.
The USP of Gionee A1 plus is its 20MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and selfie flash. It also comes with 13MP+5MP dual rear cameras with auto-focus, f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and flash. Recently, OnePlus 5 and Honor 8 Pro has also been launched with Dual Cameras on the back and A1 Plus will register its name in this segment.
This phone sports a 6.0-inch FHD in-cell display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is packed with MediaTek Helio P25 processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM expandable to 256GB with microSD card.
The other prominent feature of A1 Plus is that it is packed with massive 4550 mAh battery with 18W ultrafast charging. It lasts for more than one day and that is huge advantage for the success of this phone.
This phone supports Dual SIM and offers connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, micro-USB port, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS/A-GPS. It measures 166.4 x 83.3 x 9.1 mm and weighs 226 grams. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Gionee’s Amigo 4.0 layer on top. This phone has Fingerprint sensor on the home button.
As far as price is concerned, we are not aware of the same so far. Our speculation is that it will be priced in the range of Rs. 25,000. We shall come out with detailed review of this phone on 14th July. Stay tuned for more details!
