Gionee has launched today its economically priced Pioneer P2S smartphone at Rs. 6,499. This smartphone will be available in Blue, Yellow, Red, White and Black colors.
Gionee Pioneer P2S sports a 4 inches screen and is powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor. In the press statement, Gionee has not specified the screen resolution and details of the chipset used in the processor.This smartphone supports Dual Sim and runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS. If Gionee has to compete with the recently introduced smartphones in this range then it should run on the latest Android KitKat version.
Gionee P2S comes in with an in-built 4GB memory, and is packed with 1600 mAh battery. Gionee P2S has a 5 Mega Pixel rear camera and also houses front facing VGA camera. With front camera, you can take selfies without touching the phone through V-gesture shot. You can also click continuous shots of animals, people in action and full panoramic shots of great scenes.
This smratphone will be ideal for first time buyers of smartphones who have limited budgets and want to experience Android world.
