Mumbai-based GlobalSpace Technologies has launched India’s first 3-in-1 Tablet Solt. This tablet is priced Rs. 19,450/- and will be available on Snapdeal and Amazon in Carbon Black color. Solt works like a tablet, a laptop and a desktop when plugged into the dock. It runs on Microsoft Windows 8.1 with Bing and is upgradable to Windows 10.
Solt features a10.1-inch IPS Panel HD display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and having 10 points multi touch support. It is packed with 1.8 GHz quad-core processor (Z3735G) combined with 2GB DDR3L RAM at 1333 MHz and 64 GB of internal memory, expandable up to 128 GB.
This tablet comes with 5MP primary camera with an ability to scan barcodes and QR code. It is fuelled by a 7900 mAh battery, which is stated to last for 8-10 hours in case of normal use and can be good enough for 60-72 hours in standby mode. This tabelt has weight of 615 grams.
Solt includes a full-featured keyboard with magnetic dock, and a magnetic cover to keep the tablet safe. The keyboard has a large touchpad with dedicated left and right click buttons. This device supports USB flash drive, hard drive, mouse, HDMI for connecting projectors and a 3.5mm audio jack for connecting sound systems. It comes with 4 USB ports, an RJ 45 jack, speakers and an optional 500GB SATA HDD.
