Honor has recently launched its flagship smartphone, Honor 8. The highlight of this phone is its gorgeous appearance as it has diamond-cut, smooth round edges and for protection this phone comes with 2.5D glass at the front and back panel. This phone has solid build quality and despite the glass on front and back, it will resist the damage in the event of it slipping from your hand. Not only its impressive exterior look, this phone also boasts of its high-end internal hardware.
One of the major USP of this phone is its 12MP Dual-camera set-up on the back with f/2.2 aperture and Laser assisted hybrid autofocus. The purpose of the dual camera is that one lens is provided for capturing color and the second lens performs the job of capturing monochrome which results in better, sharper and crisp images with contrast and depth. This phone also has 8MP front camera which is quite good for taking selfies.
Besides its superb camera feature, the Honor 8 sports a 5.2 inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) LTPS LCD display having pixel density of 423ppi. Under the hood is Huawei’s own 16 nanometer Kirin 950 octa-core processor (comparable to Snapdragon 820 SoC) clocked at 1.8GHz with the options of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage extendable to 128GB via microSD card. Its fingerprint scanner on the back also works as a physical button and performs multiple functions such as taking photos, recording video, receiving phone calls etc. It is packed with 3000mAh battery with USB Type-C port.
In tune with its luxury design and powerful features, the brand has released the video which shows how Honor 8 gels with the Brooklyn Beckham lifestyle, which is the global brand ambassador of Honor. This video shows how Brooklyn Beckham uses various features of camera, fingerprint reading and battery etc.
Honor 8 is a great piece of design and an ideal smartphone for use by young audience for fulfilling their passions of photography, quick fingerprint reader for security, trouble-free performance and good battery back-up.
