Hyundai Motors has launcheded today all-new Tucson SUV in India at starting price of Rs 18.99 lakh, ex-Delhi. This SUV is available in five variants – two in petrol and three in diesel, which comes in manual and automatic modes. They are available in five colours – Pure White, Phantom Black, Wine Red, Sleek Silver and Sand Dust.
All New Tucson has signature Hexagonal front grille, which connects with the Dual Barrel LED headlamps to create a distinctive identity and a wing-shaped horizontal bar at the front bumper along with the LED Daytime Running Lights gives it a new character. The rear profile has a clean design with horizontal lines that flows from rear wheel arches accented by slim tail lights. This new Tucson also has Fog Lamps with LED DRL, Twin Chrome Exhaust, R18 Diamond-cut Alloy Wheels, Puddle Lamp, Chrome Finish Beltline and Shark Fin Antenna.
The new Tucson has dimensions of 4,475 x 1,850 x 1,660 mm (lengthxwidthxheight) and has wheel base of 2,670 mm. The all new Tucson is powered by options of two advanced and powerful engine – 2.0 Nu Dual VTVT Petrol Engine and the newest member of Hyundai diesel family the 2.0 R e-VGT Diesel Engine. The Petrol engine has 1,999 cc capacity with maximum power of 155ps@6,200 whereas the diesel engine has capacity of 1995 cc with 185ps@4,000 power. Both the versions are available in in 6-Speed Manual & Automatic Transmission that delivers quick, efficient shifts and high fuel efficiency. The Petrol version is rated to give 13.03 kmpl in MT and 12.95 kmpl in AT whereas the diesel engine is rated to give 18.42 kmpl in MT and 16.38 kmpl in AT mode.
On the safety front, this new SUV comes with 6 Airbags, Hill-start Assist Control, Downhill Brake control, Front & Rear Parking Sensors, Reverse Parking Camera with Steering Adaptive Guidelines, Height Adjustable Front Seatbelts, Speed Sensing Auto Door Lock, 3 Point ELR Seatbelt etc.
The all new Tucson incorporates 8.0 HD Touchscreen Audio Video Navigation System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity with voice recognition and 4+2 speaker entertainment system.
Hyundai has introduced Hyundai Premium Assurance Program (HPAP) for this SUV which comprises of 3 years/Unlimited kilometers Warranty. The program also offers Free Maintenance for 3 Years/30,000 kilometers, 3 years Roadside Assistance, 3 times update on ‘Map Care’ and 3 times customer ‘Home Visit’. Hyundai is also offering 4th Year Extended Warranty free of cost.
