Alongside HTC One A9, HTC also unvealed Desire 828 Dual SIM smartphone for Indian market. Like HTC One A9, the company has not announced the price of this smartphone also and this is also expected to hit the shelves in two weeks time.
The Desire 828 Dual SIM is the first Desire smartphone that has been equipped with optical image stabilisation (OIS), which according to HTC, detects hand movements within 0.125 milliseconds, and compensates by adjusting the lens in real time.
The Desire 828 Dual SIM sports a 5.5 inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display. It is packed with 1.5GHz, octa-core processor (MediaTek MT6753 chipset) paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable to 2TB via microSD card.
It packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash,optical image stabilisation, auto focus, BSI sensor, and HD video recording capability in 1080p.
This phone also comes with an UltraPixel front camera with fixed focus, BSI sensor and HTC UltraSelfie feature. With UltraPixel advanced imaging technology, the front camera is capable of capturing 300% more light than conventional cameras and enables you to click the images even in low light. The ƒ2.0 front camera with its wider 26.8 mm lens also enables the user to include more people and backgraound in their selfies.
As its name suggests, this phone support Dual-SIM (both Nano-SIM cards), and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with HTC Sense on the top. This phone is compatible with 4G LTE connectivity of all Indian networks. It also offers standard connectivity options of Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) etc. It also incorporates Ambient light, Proximity, Motion G, Compass and Magnetic sensors.accelerometer, compass, and magnetic sensors. The Desire 828 Dual SIM is fuelled by a 2800mAh battery.
The Desire 828 Dual-SIM also boasts of the HTC BoomSound front facing speakers with Dolby Audio to provide immersive and crystal clear sound. This phone has dimensions of 157.7×78.8×7.9mm and its weight is 148 grams.
From the features perspective, this phone looks quite impressive and the success of this phone in India will depend upon its price. We expect the price to be quite attractive for this device.
