HTC has launched its another flagship smartphone HTC Butterfly S, which is powerful and faster than its recent HTC One, which is getting overwhelming response in the markets wherever it is available so far.
The Butterfly S features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels.1080p, and front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers. The Butterfly S runs Android Jelly Bean. This smartphone is powered by a 1.9GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, which is faster than HTC One. It is packed with a 3,200 mAh battery, 2GB of RAM and has an internal storage of 16GB, which is expandable via a microSD card.
The Butterfly S comes with Beats Audio integration and runs HTC’s own Sense 5 UI just like the HTC One. The device also includes connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a /ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and infrared remote control.
Like HTC One, this smartphone is also equipped with 4MP UltraPixel rear camera and has the features of HTC Zoe software. It also has a 2.1-megapixel wide-angle front camera.
It is currently scheduled for a release in July in Taiwan,and carry a price tag of approx.$766. There is no word about the launch schedule in India and other global markets.
This is the major launch by HTC after HTC One, which is selling in good numbers. Hope this time, HTC will be able to ship the new device in desired numbers in the markets wherever it is launched and there will be no supply issues as happened at the time of launch of HTC One.
