HTC has launched its latest flagship smartphone U11 with innovative technologies in India. This is also the first smartphone in India to be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 835 processor. HTC U11 is the world’s first smartphone with a revolutionary new squeeze technology HTC Edge Sense.
With Edge Sense, users can engage with the phone in an unprecedented yet intuitive way through a squeeze. You can open applications and the camera by squeezing the U11. You will be required to apply different pressures for opening different functions of the phone. Moreover, Edge Sense is based on pressure applied to the side of the device and can be used in nearly any condition – including rainy weather that would normally pose a challenge with capacitive buttons.
This phone also comes with HTC USonic that combines Active Noise Cancellation with the ability to tune audio to your unique hearing. HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition speakers, Dynamic Range Audio and Upgraded microphones, with new Acoustic Focus technology enables the best 3D audio recording quality yet to record audio from all directions.
On the hardware front, the U11 features a 5.5 inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) Quad HD Super LCD 5 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It gets its power from the latest Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.45GHz, combined with 6GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage extendable to 2TB with microSD card. This phone is packed with 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
This phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with HTC Sense UI and supports Hybrid Dual SIM. It also incorporates fingerprint sensor. This phone has an IP67 rating and is dust, splash and is also water-resistant.
For photography, this phone is equipped with 12MP HTC UltraPixel 3 rear camera with dual LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, OIS, UltraSpeed Autofocus, RAW capture, 4K video recording with 3D Audio, Hi-Res stereo recording and Acoustic Focus. For selfies, this phone has 16MP front-facing camera with 1080p video recording.
