At an event in New Delhi, Hyundai Motors has launched All New Santro compact family car. The new Santro comes in five variants of D-Lite, Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta. It will be available in 7 exterior colours including 2 new colours – Imperial Beige and Diana Green. The other five colors of new Santro are : Blue, Red, Silver, White and StarDust. It comes with two interior colour options Premium Beige with Champagne Gold inserts and Sporty All Black Interiors with Diana Green colour inserts based on exterior colours.
The new Santro has Tall boy design which insures modern styling, superior headroom & shoulder room, easy ingress and egress, high seating position and spacious and airy cabin feel.
The All New Santro is embellished with signature Cascade Grille with chrome surround with uniquely positioned fog lamps that gives premium look to the car. It has bold bonnet character lines with Hyundai logo and swept back headlamps and first-in-segment Micro Antenna gives a fresh appeal to it. This car has Z shaped character lines which reveal the underlying inspiration of Hyundai designers. The stylish tail lamps and sporty dual tone rear bumper with reflectors give modern sporty appeal.
In the cabin, the new Santro’s AC Vents are inspired from Propeller design which exudes a sporty stance inside the cabin. It has superior AC Performance along with first-in segment rear AC vents for enhanced comfort of the passengers on rear seat. It has spacious cabin and height of the car is very good to accomodate a tall person. For storage, it has trunk of 235 litres.
The new Santro comes with 7 inch Touch Screen Audio Video System with smartphone connectivity options of Android Auto, Apple Car Play & Mirror Link and Voice Recognition function along with iblue Smartphone App support. Also, the screen is supported with first-in-segment rear parking camera display.
For safety, the new Santro has strong body structure (63% AHSS+HSS). It comes with dual front airbags with standard driver airbag, impact sensing auto door unlock (First-in-Segment) and rear parking sensors.
The new Santro is powered by 4-Cylinder 1.1 Litre Petrol engine offering 69ps of power with low vibrations, superior performance and high fuel efficiency. Mated with option of MT and in-house developed Smart Auto AMT transmissions. The All New Santro will also have option for factory fitted CNG (60 L water equivalent) which is available on Magna and Sportz variants.
The new Santro comes with 3 Years/100,000 kms warranty & 3 years Road Side Assistance.
