Intex Teechnologies is on launching spree and announced today three new smartphones- Aqua Star, Aqua Star HD and Aqua Star Power. These smrtphones run on Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS, and are priced in the range of Rs. 6,990 to Rs. 8,990.
All the three smartphones support Dual-SIM and comes with similar features of processing power and storage capabilites. All the three smartphones are powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor (MT 6582M), coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM, which can be extended upto 32GB via microSD card. All the smartphones also support 3G network.
The Aqua Star features a 5 inch FWVGA IPS Full Laminated display ( 854×480 pixels). It is equipped with 8MP Auto-Focus rear camera and 2MP front camera. It is packed with 2000 mAh battery.
This smartphone comes preloaded with apps like Matrabhasha, Intex Play, Intex Games Club, NewsHunt, Zapak, OLX, Opera Mini and Xender.
Priced at Rs. 6,990, this phone is available in two colors – Black and White.
As the name suggests, the Aqua Star HD offers full HD Display and has a display of 5 inches with resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It comes with 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera that support clicking selfies by using volume button/ headset button and Bluetooth. It is fuelled by a 1800mAh battery.
This smartphone incorporates an interesting ‘Draw’ feature that enable the users to access their favorite apps by simply drawing an alphabet on the screen. For ease of operations, it comes with a draw shortcuts for Whatsapp (W), Music (M), Facebook (S) and dialer screen (C).
The Aqua Star HD has a bunch of preloaded apps like Matrabhasha, Intex Play, NewsHunt, Zapak and Xender Dr. Safety.
This smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,690, and is available in Leather Black and Grey color variants. It also comes with free covers in 4 different colors – White, black, maroon and red.
Finally, the Aqua Star Power smartphone is equipped with massive 3000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and lasts for almost 15 days upon a single charge. It sports a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS Full Laminated display with 854×480 pixels. It houses a 8MP AF rear camera and 2MP AF front camera.
This smartphone also comes pre-loaded with various apps such as FOTA, Dr. Safety, Flipkart, Getit, Intex Play, Intex Zone, NewsHunt, Olx, Opera Mini, Saavn, WeChat Launcher and Zapak.
This phone is priced at just Rs. 7,490 and is available in three colors – Black, Grey and Blue.
Al the three smartphones are now available through Intex’s distribution network comprising of 1100+ distributors and 50,000+ dealers besides 250+ dedicated counters of reputed chains of hyper markets and specialty stores across the country, on TV shopping channels and e-commerce sites.
