Lenovo is all set to launch its latest phablet Vibe Z2 Pro in India on 30th September. Lenovo has started sending out media invites for an event, which will take place in New Delhi on 30th September. The Vibe Z2 Pro was launched by Lenovo in the month of August and it was listed on its Indian website few days ago.
The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro phablet sports a 6 inch Quad-HD (1440×2560 pixel) display, and is powered by 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor with 550 MHz Adreno 330 GPU, coupled with 3GB RAM and non-expandable 32GB internal storage. This phablet is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), 4K video recording capability, and dual LED flash. It also comes with a 5-megapixel front camera.
This phablet supports Dual-SIM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Lenovo’s proprietary Vibe UI 2.0 on top. It is fuelled by a very powerful 4000mAh battery. For connectivity, it offes options of 4G LTE / 3G, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS.
The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro will be available in Titanium, Gold and Black colors. There is no word about probable price of this device and even the rumor mills are silent at this time. We shall come to know about the same on the launch date.
The Vibe Z2 Pro will compete with LG G3, Oppo Find 7 and flagship devices of HTC and Samsung etc. In order to be highly competitive, Lenovo will have to price it attractively for Indian market.
