itel Mobiles Introduces King Voice – Text to Speech App – On Its Feature Phones

itel Mobiles which is part of Transsion Holdings conglomerate has introduced King Voice appliation on its recently launched two feature phones in India – it5231 & it5320. According to itel, King Voice is text to speech application for smart keypad devices. It is a stock application that works as a personal interpreter which is user friendly and utility driven.

King Voice can be activated via shortcut keypad commands and lets the consumer navigate through their smart keypad devices assisted by voice support. King Voice also empowers its consumers with the ability to hear their incoming messages. This app also announces incoming calls as well as reads out the mobile address book.

This app has been introduced initially on two smart keypad devices of the company and this app will be brought on to their entire range in the coming future.

Currently, itel feature phones which the company calls Smart keypad devices are priced below Rs. 2000 whereas their Smart phones are priced below Rs. 10,000.

According to itel, its handsets are available across the markets of Uttar Pradesh East, Uttar Pradesh West, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. The company has plans to enter other markets in its phase 2 expansion plan to cover markets of Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura.
