LAVA Internationa, one of the established Indian brand in the mobile handset industry, today added a new member to its Iris brand of smartphones with the launch of Iris Alfa L. The L denotes for the latest Android Lollipop OS 5.0, which runs this smartphone. The Iris Alfa L is available in white and metallic grey colours.
The Iris Alfa L phablet features a 5.5 inch qHD IPS display (960×540), with high luminosity, and the G+F (Glass + Film) touch panel, which is claimed to ensure a smooth touch interface. This smartphone is driven by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek Quad core processor, paired with 1 GB RAM and 8GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 32 GB via micro-SD card.
The Iris Alfa L is equipped with an 8MP Auto-Focus Digital Zoom rear camera with PureCel Sensor and LED flash. It also houses a 2MP front camera. The camera experience is further enhanced as it supports Full HD (1080P) video recording and playback.
The Iris Alfa L also comes with dual speakers for a better audio output. It also supports H.263, H.264, and MPEG4 with 3GP Container Format Video codecs and an Android Video Player. The device is packed with a massive 3,000mAH Li-Polymer battery. This phone has thickness of 9.35 mm and its round edges will ensure good grip in the hand.
On the connectivity front, the Dual SIM Iris Alfa L provides support to 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V4.0 and micro- USB v2.0.
WOWOWOWOWWOWOWOWOWOOWOWOWOWOWOWOOW!! I really liked the Alfa L, which has the largest battery of them all at 3000mah!! Android Lollipop and other features are also pretty ok i think. The processor should have been octa core processor in my opinion, but for the price,i think it is fine.
