MapmyIndia, India’s leading mapping and navigation company, has stated in its press release that it is India’s 5th fastest growing Midsized IT & ITES Company. It ranks 28th overall amongst the Indian Midsized companies across categories. Additionally, the Inc Hall of Fame 2014 certificate was presented to Rakesh Verma, Managing Director, MapmyIndia at a recently held ceremony in the capital, graced by the special invitee Satya Nadella, CEO, Microsoft Inc.

The Inc Hall of Fame 2014 certificate recognizes the entrepreneurial zeal, growth and excellence in the best-performing mid-sized Enterprises in India, who have achieved scale and growth by adopting innovative strategies to surpass environmental & internal challenges. These companies have been trailblazers and drivers of innovation and growth, adds the statement.

The MapmyIndia products are quite popular amongst Indian consumers. The recently launched MapmyIndia NaviMaps (Android and iOS) is high on both innovation and utility. For the first time the Indian consumers are getting house address level data on their mobile phone which is voice guided in 10 Indian languages along with international maps of Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The app offers a dynamic traffic update, 3D views and much more. MapmyIndia’s SNT (Social, Navigation and Tracking) suite of mobile apps like Explore, ReachMe, Locate and MapmyIndia Maps on Mobile are very popular. Leading companies have launched products/services using these apps as USPs.
