With the stupendous sucesss of Canvas Nitro and after selling over half a million units of this smartphone, Micromax has expanded its portfolio and launched today upgraded Canvas Nitro 2 smartphone. The Canvas Nitro 2 smartphone is priced at Rs. 10,990 and will be available in Moondust Grey and Pristine White colours pan India across channels starting today.
The Canvas Nitro 2 comes with impressive hardware specifications. It features a 5-inch HD IPS display(1280×720 pixels) fortified with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Canvas Nitro 2 is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa Core processor coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM, and 16GB ROM, which can be further expanded upto 32GB via microSD card.
The Canvas Nitro 2 is equipped with the 13MP AF rear camera with Largan lens and Sony sensor, and LED flash. It also houses 5MP FF front camera for taking selfies. It is packed with 2400 mAh battery, which is rated to offer upto 9 hours of Talk Time, and 250 hours of standby time.
The Canvas Nitro 2 runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2, and supports Dual SIM. It gives users the access to a number of features including voice search, Google Drive, Hangouts for video calls, smart contact prioritization etc.
Compared to Canvas Nitro which was9.3 mm thick, the new Canvas Nitro 5 is 7.5mm thin. For connectivity, it offers options of 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc.
The Canvas Nitro 2 also comes pre-loaded with plethora of applications such as App center, ASKME, Chaatz, Clean master, Dr.Safety, Hotstar, MAD, Newshunt, PayTm , Quikr, Snapdeal, Swiftkey, Opera Mini, Saavn and Truecaller.
