Micromax today announced the 8-inch Canvas Tab P666, which is its first Intel Processor powered device in India. The Canvas P66 has been launched in collaboration with Intel and is powered by the Intel Atom Processor Z2520 (1M Cache, 1.2 Ghz). This tablet will be assembled in India by Micromax, which is one significant step in the direction of realizing the government’s ‘Make in India’ vision.’
Available in Black and White colors, this tablet is priced at Rs. 10,999/- and will be available in online and offline stores from November 29.
The Canvas Tab P666 features an 8-inch WXGA IPS display with a resolution of 800×1280. It runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS and is eqipped with a 5MP rear camera and at the same time to fulfil the selfie needs, it also houses a 2MP front camera. This tablet comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded upto 32GB with the help of microSD card.
The Canvas Tab P666 is packed with powerful 4400mAh battery and its weight is 310 grams and thickness is 7.9mm. According to Micromax, the tablet is designed with an exquisite glass finish and metal edges giving it a unique and elegant look.
Besides 3G connectivity options, this tablet also offers connectivity for GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.
