Microsoft is set to launch its own branded Lumia 535 smartphone in India on 26th November. This smartphone was unveiled by Microsoft last week. The Lumia 535 is budget smartphone and comes in single and Dual SIM versions. It is expected that Dual-SIM version would be launched in India. This smartphone is expected to be having a price tag in the range of Rs. 8000.
The Lumia 535 comes with 5 inch qHD display (960 x 540) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and is powered by Snapdragon 200 Quad-core 1.2GHz proceesor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card. Microsoft will also provide the 15 GB free OneDrive storage. It is equipped with 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera for selfies.The Lumia 535 is packed with 1905 mAh battery.
For connectivity, the Lumia 535 offers options of USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi hotspot, A-GLONASS, A-GPS etc. It comes loaded with HERE Drive+, HERE Maps, Bing Maps.
The Lumia 535 would be ideal smartphone for selfies enthusiasts also as it has 5MP front camera as well as 5MP primary camera with wide angles. This smartphone is being promoted as 555 device meaning 5 inch qHD display and 5MP front and rear cameras.
The Lumia 535 is the first smartphone by Microsoft which is without Nokia branding.
