The online e-retailer Flipkart, which has exclusive rights to sell Moto range of devices in India, will start selling Moto 360 smartwatch for Rs. 17,999, from today afternoon. Motorola had launched this smartwatch in India alongwith 2nd generarion Moto G and Moto X smartphones on 5th September. The new Moto G and Moto X are already available on Flipkart.
The Moto 360 smartwatch features a 1.5 inch backlit LCD display with a resolution of 320×290 pixels (205ppi) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has 46mm diameter and is 11mm high, and weighs 49 grams with the leather strap.
It is powered by a TI OMAP 3 processor, coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It is packed with 320mAh battery, which is rated to last the full day. This watch can be charged wirelessly and charging dock comes with the watch.
The Moto 360 offers Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy connectivity. With this watch, you can keep track of your steps and know your heart rate as it has built-in pedometer and heart rate monitor. It is water resistant and has IP67 rating. This watch has single physical button, a vibration motor, and dual microphones.
Moto 360 runs on Google’s new Android Wear OS, which has been designed especially for wearable device.This smartwatch is compatible with Android smartphones running version 4.3 or higher.
