Lenovo owned Motorola has launched today two smartphones in India under G series. These two smartphones are Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play. Both the smartphones have FullView Display, Fingerprint sensor, Face Unlock features and water-repellent coating inside and outside which helps protect these phones from accidental splashes or light rain. These phones run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
The Moto G6 features a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display (1080×1920) with an 18:9 aspect ratio and Cornin Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 450 platform and comes in two variants – 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM. Internal storage can be extended upto 128GB via microSD card. It is packed with a 3000mAh battery with Moto’s TurboPower fast charging technology.
For photography, this phone is equipped with 12MP+5MP rear cameras and an f/1.8 aperture. For selfies, this phone has an 8MP camera in the front.
The Moto G6 Play also sports a 5.7-inch (1440 × 720 pixels) HD FullView display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is packed with Snapdragon 430 SoC and 3GB RAM/32GB ROM extendable upto 128GB. It is equipped with 4000mAh battery with 10W fast charger.
For optics, this phone is mounted with single 13MP rear camera with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture. It has 5MP front camera for selfies.
Both the phones offer connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 EDR & BLE, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BEIDOU and FM radio. Both the phones also incorporate Dolby Audio.
Moto g6 play will be available exclusively on Flipkart from 11:59pm 4th June and at 600+ Moto Hub stores across various states in India. It has two colour variants – Indigo Black and Fine Gold and is priced at INR 11,999.
