Motorola has introduced College Collection series of its highly popular Moto X smartphone. The customised Moto X is available in USA only. The College Collection series of Moto X smartphones are college-inspired Moto X customization options that allow students to showcase their favorite school colors on Moto X. Motorola has added nine new back colors and three new accents to their Moto X after having a close look at different college colors.
Moreover, to sweeten the deal for the students, Motorola is also offering discounts on Moto X. Against the normal price of $ 399, the students can get Moto X for $339. If you are a student in US, you are required to register at motorola.com/college with a valid .edu address and you can get an off-contract Moto X for the discounted price of $339. Moto X is also available at regular price of $49 with a new two year contract.
You can visit College Collection of Moto X design gallery and select from pre-configured school color combinations and clear cases with school logos and team names for up to 40 schools. If you do not find your favourite collection then you can mix and match with the new color palette to create your perfect combination.
The Moto X has 4.7-inch screen that sports a 720p AMOLED Display.The Moto X is powered by a custom Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor that has two Krait 300 cores clocked at 1.7GHz and a quad-core Adreno 320 GPU. This smrtphone has 2GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. The Moto X is equipped with the 10 megapixel rear camera with a unique “Quick Capture” camera functionality, which allows users to open the camera app with a three flicks of the wrist.
