Motorola India has launched today Moto X Force smartphone in India at an event in Sohna, Haryana. The USP of Moto X Force is that it comes with Moto ShatterShield, the world’s first shatterproof smartphone display. This display is so tough that it will not shatter even it falls accidentally on the floor. Motorola is very confident of its sturdiness and that is the reason giving four years warranty on the display. This phone was unveiled last year in the month of October.
The Moto X Force is priced Rs. 49,999 for 32GB variant and Rs. 53,999 for 64GB variant and will be available from 8th February across online and offline retail channels. In the online retail, it will be available on Flipkart and Amazon. It will also be available at leading retail stores in General Trade and Large Format Chains like Chroma, Spice Hotspot in India with easy EMI options on select bank credit cards.
The Moto X Force has 3 colour variants with premium materials- ballistic nylon for rich color and texture that’s lightweight and feels great in Black or Grey colours and White variant with a durable soft-grip surface with an easy-grip triangle pattern.
Moto X Force features a 5.4-inch QHD (1440×2560) display. The highlight of this display is that it is shatterproof display, which is the world’s first phone screen guaranteed not to crack or shatter. This is an exclusive Moto ShatterShield display technology consisting of five layers designed from materials that absorb shock from impact and are guaranteed not to shatter.
The Motorola Moto X Force is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor combined with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and comes in 32GB and 64GB internal storage variants which can be further extended upto 2TB via a microSD card slot.
The other highlight of this phone is its massive 3760mAh battery, which is claimed to have up to 30+ hours of battery life depending upon the usage. It comes with the world’s fastest 25W TurboPower charger in the box, with which you can get up to 13 hours of power in just 15 minutes.
On the optics front also, Motorola has equipped this phone with very powerful rear camera. It comes with a 21-megapixel rear-camera with f/2.0 aperture, Dual LED flash and Phase Detect Auto-Focus. This phone also houses a 5-megapixel front snapper with flash.
Surprisingly, this phone runs on Android 5.1.1 and not on the latest Marshmallow OS. This is a single SIM phone and offers connectivity options of 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and other standard options.
