Motorola is set to launch their latest smartphones – Moto X+1, Moto G2, and the much- awaited Moto 360 smartwatch in India. Motorola India has sent us media invite for the launch event in New Delhi on 5th September. This is gloabl launch of the latest devices from the stable of Motorla as they are organsing simultaneous event on 4th September in US also.
Motorla is showing lot of importance to India because their previous smartphones Moto G, Moto E and Moto X, have received huge response in India and changed the scenario of budget smartphones in India. Not only that, Motorola has also changed the selling mode in India and have tied-up with flipkart to sell their devices online only on exclusive basis. It is expected that the upcoming Motorla devices will also be sold by flipkart only.
Expected specifications of Moto X+1 :
- 5.2 inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution
- Android 4.4.4 KitKat
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor running at 2.5 GHz
- 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM extendable to 32GB via microSD card
- 2800mAh battery
- 12MP Rear camera and 2MP Front camera
As far as Moto G2 is concerned, it is going to have 5 inch display of 720p resolution. It is expected to be driven by a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and Adreno 305 GPU. This smartphone will come with 1GB RAM, 8GB/16GB ROM variants and will also houses an 8MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter.
The Moto 360 Smartwatcha has round face and is made of premium metal. Moto 360 really looks like a wearable watch unlike Samsung and Sony smartwatches, which have odd sizes and shapes. Moto 360 smarwatch has one unique featutre as it responds to your voice also. You are required to just say “Ok Google” to ask questions. This watch will run Android Wear, Google’s new operating system for wearable devices.
