At a glittering ceremony in Kingdom of Dreams, Gurugram, the NDTV Gadget Guru Awards 2017 was held in partnership with NEXA and 9Apps for honouring and acknowledging the best in the field of consumer electronics, gadgets, mobile applications and smartphones.
NDTV Gadget Guru Awards included 19 categories with over 200 nominations and was hosted by Vikram Chandra, Consulting Editor, NDTV and Rajiv Makhni, Group Managing Editor, Technology, NDTV. Some of the eminent guests included popular singer, Badshah, Cyrus Broacha, Ajay Bijli, Sonam Kalra, Sonal Kalra, R.S Kalsi, JJ Valaya, Ritu Beri, Rina Dhaka, Raman Roy, Reema Sen, Mohammad Kaif, Atul Wassan, and Asim Warsi among others.
The highlight of this event was that Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone was awarded as the Gadget of the Year by both Jury and Viewers.

Alongside the awards, Gadgets 360 launched Pricee.com, India’s first “search engine for shopping”. It aggregates over 60 million products across all categories (apparel, books, electronics, FMCG, appliances, sports equipment, etc.) from leading ecommerce stores in India. It is based on search algorithms built on top of Machine Learning to deliver fast and accurate results.l It is available on desktop, Android and iPhone app on launch. Multi-language option enables user to see search results in 10 different India languages.
