Nextbit Robin comes with a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display in plastic body. It is powered by Qualcomm’s hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage and 100 GB cloud storage space. Other features of the Nextbit Robin include a 2680mAh battery, a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

To solve the problem of limited storage, Robin incorporates an integrated cloud based solution. Additionally, users get all the latest security and safety features including a fingerprint sensor on Robin phone.

This phone is priced $400 in US market and we expect that in India, it will be priced in the range of Rs.20,000 to compete with the established brands.

Nextbit was founded by CEO Tom Moss and CTO Mike Chan — who worked at Google on the Android team. Nextbit Robin highlights their vision that smartphones should be simpler, leaner and smarter by harnessing the potential of cloud.
